On February 10th 2010, STIE Kesatuan held an Accounting and Marketing competition. SMA Madania students participated in this competition. The participants for the Accounting competition were Amira 11S, Dyota 11I, Abieza 11I, Endra 11S, Nico 11S and Omar 11S, While for the Marketing there was Satrio 11S, Neisya 11S, and Ayie 11A. In the accounting competition, the first round was given 100 questions of multiple choices about the theories of accounting. Unfortunately, both our teams did not pass to the second round and we were quite disappointed. On the other hand, the Marketing team was able to continue their journey to the second round that is the practice session where they will have to implement their marketing plan on Saturday 13 February 2010.
The next day, on February 11th 2010, SMA Madania participated again on a different Accounting competition in Prasetya Mulya . The participants were Abieza 11I, Amira 11S and Omar 11S. The first round was quite interesting, all teams were separated into different rooms to take the test individually. The result was very satisfying, because our team passed to the second round and got the highest score. Unfortunately, our team did not excell in the second round.
It was an interesting experience to be a participant in the compe-tition. Even though we did not win, we gained a lot of knowledge during and from this experience.(Amira Husna Natanegara, Dyota Maitri, and Thariq Abieza)
